なかなかの海でした。＠神子元

昨日に比べて風が治まり、海はずいぶん穏やかになりました。

うねりはまだ少し残っていましたが、問題なく潜ることができました。

水中の流れは時間帯によって、上潮になったり地込み潮になったり、下潮になったりと、変化のある一日でした。

透視度も場所によって差があり、少し濁っているところもあれば、きれいな場所もありました。

今日の海は、なかなか手強くもあり、面白くもあるコンディションでした。

そして、今日のハンマーは単体のみ。
昨日はあれだけ群れが見られたのに、今日は一体どこへ行ってしまったのでしょうかね......。

とはいえ、魚影は昨日に引き続きとても濃く、
イサキの群れ、タカベの群れ、タカサゴの群れ、さらにはツムブリの群れまで登場！
神子元といえばハンマーが有名ですが、ハンマーだけでなく、こうした魚の群れの迫力も本当にすごいです！

なお、明日は風が強く吹く予報のため、神子元はクローズとなります。

Compared to yesterday, the wind has calmed down and the sea has become much more peaceful.

There was still a bit of swell remaining, but we were able to dive without any problems.

The underwater currents varied throughout the day--sometimes it was an incoming tide, sometimes a slack tide, and sometimes an outgoing tide.

Visibility also varied depending on the location, with some spots a bit murky and others nice and clear.

All in all, the ocean conditions today were a bit challenging, but also quite interesting.

As for hammerheads today--we only saw a single one.
It's hard to believe that after seeing such a large school yesterday, today there was just one. Where could they all have gone?

That said, the fish activity was still just as impressive as yesterday.
We saw schools of grunt (Isaki), yellow-striped scad (Takabe), fusilier (Takasago), and even rainbow runners (Tsumuburi)!

Mikomoto is, of course, famous for hammerhead sharks, but it's not just about them--the sheer number of schooling fish is absolutely incredible as well!
